Velon and the Hammer Hong Kong event partner, the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB), confirm that the preparations for staging Hammer Hong Kong on Sunday, October 13, 2019, will continue as planned.
The decision has been taken after carefully monitoring events in Hong Kong over the last couple of months and on the basis of expert local opinion and advice from the race organiser with the full support of the participating teams to make the 2019 Hammer Hong Kong another success.
Velon and the Hong Kong Tourism Board will, of course, continue to keep the situation under close review and in consultation with local experts and the authorities in Hong Kong as the safety of the participating teams and fans in Hong Kong is of utmost importance.
